Formerly an Associate with Meyer, English & Cianculli,
P.C., John C. Tsunis opened his law practice in 1977, specializing in
real estate, zoning, commercial transactions and banking law. He is the current Chairman of the Board of Gold Coast Bank in Islandia, New York, and serves as a member of its executive and loan committees. He is is past General Counsel to Long Island Commercial Bank (Islandia,
NY) and a past member of its board of directors, executive committee,
and loan committees. He is active in real estate development
transactions, hotel management and development, a Member of the Board of Governors of Touro Law School, Member of the Board of Directors of New York State Convention and Tourism, President of Tsunis Family
Foundation Inc., chair of the Stony Brook University Medical Center Children's Hospital Task Force and active in other philanthropic endeavors. He was recently elected Vice Chairman of the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association's Board of Directors. He is
also Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Long Island Museum and Past President of the Three Village Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Tsunis received a Juris
Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 1975 and is
a graduate of New York University with Honors in Banking and Finance
(1973). Mr. Tsunis has extensive experience representing clients in
zoning, real estate transaction, contracts, commercial law, banking,
foreclosure, business organization, estates and trusts, and landlord

Formerly an Assistant District Attorney for the County of Suffolk (1996-1998) and an Associate of the Law Office of John C.
Tsunis, Maria Gasparis has been a partner in our law firm since 1999. Ms. Gasparis focuses her practice on
representing lenders, borrowers, investors, developers and landlords
in various aspects of real estate transactions including commercial
and residential lending, acquisitions, sales and leasing. Ms. Gasparis also has extensive experience representing clients in landlord tenant
proceedings, civil litigations and criminal law.
Ms. Gasparis received her Juris Doctor from Albany

Leonard Lustig is a graduate Columbia College and of Columbia Law School. He has more than 40-years of private practice experience in Suffolk County. He focuses on real estate contracts, title claims litigation, landlord/tenant matters, commercial transactions, bank representation, estates and guardianships. He has served as president and a board member at North Shore Jewish Center and the North Brookhaven Chapter of B’nai B’rith. Throughout his career, he has been involved with community outreach, including serving as a board member for the Suffolk Association for Jewish Educational Services, the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation and the Suffolk County Builders Association. Christopher P. Ring was formerly a partner at the law firm of Attonito & Ring with offices in Smithtown. He brings years of municipal law experience to the firm having represented public organizations and municipalities, including fire districts, state associations and villages, and he broadens the firm’s capabilities in these areas of law. In addition to these clients, Mr. Ring also has extensive experience representing clients in commercial transactions, civil litigation, and commercial and residential real estate. Mr. Ring was appointed a Special Assistant District Attorney by the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in March 2006. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts, as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Rose M. Elefante is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and St. John’s University School of Law, which she attended on a full academic scholarship. Ms. Elefante specializes in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, elder law and nonprofit organizations, with over 15 years of valuable experience in these areas. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association Estate Planning and Elder Law Sections, as well as the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Elder Law, Surrogate’s Court and Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committees. Ms. Elefante has served as Chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Committee, and, in 2008, was honored with the Suffolk County Bar Association Award of Recognition. Ms. Elefante is active in her community as a frequent lecturer on the subjects of Elder Law and Estate Planning and as a member of the Smithtown Industry Advisory Board. She is admitted to practice before the courts of New York State and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. A proponent of ADR, Ms. Elefante is a trained mediator and was appointed to the New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division Roster of Mediators.
Lawrence M. Kenney is a graduate of College of Holy Cross and Fordham University School of Law. Mr. Kenney has practiced law for four decades and concentrates his practice in the areas of fire district representation and probate, trust and estate administration. He is admitted to practice before the Courts in New York and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Kenney is a former chairman of the Surrogate’s Court Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association, a member of the Surrogate’s Court Committee and Elder Law Section of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Trusts and Estates and Elder Law Sections of the New York State Bar Association, a member to the Trusts and Estates and General Practice sections of the American Bar Association.
